The plant registrar allowed this distinction from the usually registered single cultivars because there was a certain homogeneity in the seedlings produced (to put it simply: large red plants).

Among this original cross made by Phil Faulisi, 2 clones stood out for their remarkable characteristics:

The "Select" selected by Mike Wang

The "Prince of Darkness" here present

The "Prince of Darkness" version presented here is an exceptional plant in any collection. When you see it for the first time, it's hard to have a more attractive plant at the top of your "Most Wanted List". This was certainly my personal case. Darker in the middle of the season than the "Select" and with a different shape, PoD rises like the Prince of Darkness to overlook your entire collection with its darkness.

Believe me, this plant will put a smile back on your face after the darkest of your days.

Like "Select," "Prince of Darkness" will reveal its full potential if it is allowed to establish itself well for several seasons (between 3 and 5) in its pot. But the wait is truly rewarded by its unique and exceptional characteristics.

-SXA02: S. x ' alucard ' -- “Prince of Darkness”

S: a small growth point
M: A mature growth point
L: One large growth point or several S/M growth points

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0798/0685/7548/files/SXA02-01Sarraceniax_alucard_--PrinceofDarkness.jpg?v=1725026755
